The DON'Ts
Do NOT pick or scratch your new tattoo! It will scab over and fall off naturally.
Do NOT recover or bandage your new tattoo! This will slow the healing processand may pull some of the scabs from your body, causing scarring or areas that will need touching up later.
Do NOT wear tight-fitting clothing over tattooed area. Wear clean, comfortable clothing.
Do not USE ALCOHOL, PEROXIDE, VASELINE, NEOSPORIN, TATTOO GOO, OR ANY OTHER OINTMENTS ON YOUR TATTOO!
Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, lakes, hot tubs, pools, oceans, or any body of water for 2-3 weeks.
Do not take baths unless tub is thorouhgly cleaned before each use. Bathtubs harbor bacteria that could lead to infection
Do not sleep in unwashed bedding. Be sure that sheets are cleaned regularly to prevent bacteria from contaminating your piercing.
Normal Healing

  • Scabbing, redness, puffiness on and around area tattooed.
  • "Silver Skin" will appear over the tattoo. This is your body'snatural reaction that will appear as a thin layer of shiny skin covering the tattoo. This will go away when the tattoo is completely healed.
